A fraudster who stole £300,000 from a vulnerable pensioner and spent it on Botox and luxurious items has been located in Tenerife by Sky News. Pamela Gwinnett deceived 89-year-old Joan Green into transferring power of attorney to her, allowing her to access the retired accountant’s life savings. Gwinnett used the money for cosmetic treatments, expensive meals, a £22,500 car, and mortgages for her properties. Despite being sentenced to six years for theft and fraud, Gwinnett fled to Tenerife and has been living there for the past 11 months. When confronted by Sky News, she denied stealing Joan’s savings, claiming her family was responsible and insisting that her solicitor had the money. Gwinnett’s crimes have sparked outrage among residents in her apartment complex, who have put up posters demanding justice for Joan Green and labeling Gwinnett as «wanted.» Joan’s step-grandson expressed his disappointment that she may have passed away believing Gwinnett’s lies about her family. Manchester City have pulled off a stunning victory in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley, with their young full-back, Nico O’Reilly, scoring two goals in just four minutes to secure the win against Arsenal. Despite Arsenal’s nine-point lead at the top of the Premier League table, the defeat ends their hopes of achieving a quadruple this season. O’Reilly opened the scoring in the 60th minute after a mistake by Arsenal keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, and then quickly added a second goal to double City’s lead. This win marks a record fifth League Cup triumph for Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, who described the victory as «special» given the tough competition from Arsenal. O’Reilly, who celebrated his 21st birthday over the weekend, expressed his delight at scoring both goals in the final and emphasized the need for City to continue building on this success.
