Nintendo has unveiled the sales figures for the Switch 2 within the first four days of its launch.
With over 3.5 million units sold globally since June 5, it marks the most successful debut in Nintendo’s history.
The Switch 2 boasts a larger, more responsive screen compared to its predecessor, along with new magnetic controllers, enhanced processing power, and graphics performance.
One of the notable features of this new system is the GameChat functionality, allowing players to engage in voice or video chats and share their gameplay screen with friends online while playing.
Many Switch 2 bundles include the highly anticipated Mario Kart World game.
Despite its popularity, the Switch 2 remains scarce in the UK, with most retailers quickly selling out upon release.
Stock Informer, a platform that monitors stock availability at various retailers, indicates that the Switch 2 is currently sold out at most brick-and-mortar stores, with restocks anticipated later this week.
While some units may be found on online marketplaces like eBay, gamers are cautioned to be vigilant against potential scams.
