Man dies in tractor accident after vintage car show in Gloucestershire

A man has tragically passed away following a devastating incident involving a tractor that veered off course and collided with parked vehicles after a vintage car exhibition in Gloucestershire.

Local emergency services rushed to the location of the Severn Vale Vintage Club’s annual showcase in Fiddington, near Tewkesbury, at 11.25pm on Saturday.

The man, aged in his 50s, was fatally injured at the scene, while a passenger sustained severe injuries and received immediate assistance from a bystander, as reported by Gloucestershire Police.

The deceased’s family has been notified of the heartbreaking news.

A man in his twenties, believed to be the driver of the tractor, was apprehended on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol, according to a statement from the authorities.

Tragically, the car exhibition was called off on Sunday in light of the tragic events, as detailed on its official website.
