Tragic Tesla Crash in Surrey Claims Two Teenagers’ Lives
Two teenagers have tragically lost their lives, and a third is currently fighting for survival after a devastating collision involving a Tesla and a tree in Surrey, as confirmed by local law enforcement.
The incident occurred in Hurst Green near Oxted, where one of the victims was pronounced dead at the scene shortly before 10pm on a Saturday night. The second victim passed away in the hospital, while the third remains in critical condition.
All three individuals involved were in their late teens, and their families have been notified of the tragic events.
The driver of the Tesla sustained serious injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment. The authorities were alerted to the crash between the white Tesla and a tree on Holland Road, near the junction with Popes Lane.
Arrest Made in Connection to the Incident
A 30-year-old man from Oxted has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
Surrey Police is urging any witnesses to the collision to step forward and provide any information they may have. They are specifically requesting any CCTV, dashcam, or helmet cam footage that could shed light on the tragic incident.
