Three individuals have been apprehended following the unearthing of a deceased individual in a field in Inverclyde. Police Scotland has indicated that official identification has not yet occurred, but the relatives of a 50-year-old man who went missing from Greenock on Tuesday have been notified.
The body of the man was discovered in a field near High Mathernock Farm, Kilmacolm, approximately 15 miles west of Glasgow, at around 9:20 am on Tuesday. The authorities are looking into a disturbance on Lansbury Street, Greenock, reported around 2:45 am that same day, with ongoing investigations to ascertain any potential connections.
A spokesperson from Police Scotland disclosed, «Three men, aged 51, 45, and 44, have been taken into custody in relation to the incident, and extensive inquiries are being conducted.»
