Police Scotland investigating possible human remains found in Loch Lomond

A comprehensive investigation is currently underway following the discovery of «possible human remains» at a picturesque location in Loch Lomond.

Authorities from Police Scotland were alerted to the situation near Rubha Dubh, at Firkin Point, around 12:40pm on Saturday.

A representative from the police force stated: «Extensive inquiries are currently in progress.»

Firkin Point, situated between Tarbet and Inverbeg, lies along the West Loch Lomond Cycle Path and is a favored picnic area with camping opportunities.
