Describing the project as «galvanising,» Lord Foster is thrilled to be working on a project that he considers to be the highlight of his career. With a budget of around £2bn, the stadium’s design includes three towering masts that will serve as a unique feature over Old Trafford. The stadium is part of a larger regeneration project that aims to create a vibrant urban space in Manchester. Lord Foster believes that the stadium will set a new standard for British sports venues, emphasizing that Manchester United is a unique team deserving of a one-of-a-kind stadium.
