The news was delivered to them by those who had not been in the synagogue and had their phones on. The shock and disbelief were palpable among the community members, especially on such a holy day. Despite the presence of security measures outside the synagogue, there was a sense of vulnerability and fear among the people, given the rising acts of antisemitism in the UK. One man expressed that the security measures may not be enough to prevent such attacks.
