Nottingham Forest head coach Ange Postecoglou has been sacked by the Premier League club after just eight games in charge of the team.

Postecoglou’s last match ended in a 3-0 home defeat to Chelsea on Saturday, the sixth defeat of his short tenure in all competitions.

The Australian, who was appointed in September following the dismissal of Nuno Espirito Santo, led the team to four defeats in the league and just one draw.
