The suspect in the Madeleine McCann case, who cannot be fully identified under German privacy laws, has emerged from hiding to confront the prosecutor accusing him of the British toddler’s murder. Christian B traveled for hours to try to speak to lawyer Hans Christian Wolters, who has publicly claimed to possess evidence implicating Christian B in the abduction and killing of Madeleine in 2007. Despite these accusations, Christian B denies any involvement in her disappearance.
Christian B, recently released from a rape sentence, expressed frustration in an exclusive interview with Sky News, stating that the prosecutor refused to meet him and take responsibility for the media attention he’s been receiving. Since his release, Christian B has been living in Neumunster, north of Hamburg, under intense scrutiny from journalists and the community due to his prior convictions for child sex crimes.
The situation escalated when local councillor Karin Mundt warned residents via Facebook about the presence of Christian B in the town and called for his expulsion.
